Each card is sold individually, Very Good plus condition, with minor edge wear, possible minor soil due to age and handling, minor rounding of corners, but overall VERY GOOD PLUS condition with no creases, no marks on front or back, type on front and back printed very slightly crooked or "off square". Artwork of the dogs is vertical in format, a head study with great expression, and a solid colored background, typical of portrait painting. Reverse side of all cards printed with breed details. Leo Chambers artwork makes this of absolutely framable quality, one of the finest canine artists of the time! Size of the card is 1.4" wide by 2.65" high. Description: this dog, half-hound and half-pointer by breed, was at one time highly popular. His spots are usually black, but sometimes liver-coloured. they do not develop in the puppy until he is three weeks old. His weight when fully grown is from 50 to 55 lb. He is called the "spotted carriage dog." Now, however, he is better known as a watch dog.
