Description: 1916 Bowdoin class of 1919 team football cabinet card. Whitey Whitt blonde hair front center. Witt has a substantial MLB career. Most of his MLB career was played for the Yankees. He won a World Series there in 1923. Witt was the league leader in plate appearances in 1921 and walks in 1922. Career .287 hitter who played infield and outfield. Card is very large. It’s about a foot and a half by two foot. Stains, toning and wear. Cracking of the upper left corner. The corner may separate in shipping. I will pack it to prevent it. If purchased plan on the corner being loose, but pleasantly surprised if it’s intact. The card was bought with the corner issue. I’m not sure if the condition was exacerbated in the shipping to me. I received the card in no plastic. The card now has a large rigid plastic that is open top and one side. Easy in. Easy out. Card willl be shipped in the plastic. Feel free to ask questions.
