Description: I'm pleased to offer this "Antique" BRISTOL ART POTTERY Leaded Lights PILGRIM PURITAN COLLECTOR PLATE. It measures 10-1/4" in diameter. Made of thick & heavy pottery this PILGRIM PURITAN PLATE is one of a series by John Barker that dates from 1900 to 1910. . Depicted against the "leaded lights" pattern of broad intersecting lines is the colorful profile bust image of a cheerful Pilgrim man. Hand written lettering on the front side reads: "There's mair in the kitchen" (see images). Impressed maker's marks appear on the backside along with the "B61" mark & stamped lettering that reads: Bristol Leaded Lights Pottery JB (see images). With a high gloss finish & no chips or paint loss; all over crazing is typical.
