Externally, sound with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the board. Front hinge starting but firm to London. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light scattered spotting. Contemporary ink inscriptions to the front endpapers of both volumes and preface of South London. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown of South London.
