Description: This was stored in the pages of an antique book for over 100 years! These souvenirs are quite rare to find, especially in as wonderful shape as this one. This is a museum quality Stevengraph. Call it a ribbon, a bookmark, a souvenir or a memento, these were woven on site at the Philadelphia World's Fair in 1876, at the Women's Pavilion. Made by Werner Itschner & Co Silk Weaving Mill, Philadelphia PA, on a jacquard loom. This was America's first World's Fair, celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
