Description: 0335----1926 Pollock family letter - Plain Grove Twp - Lawrence County PA Original letter from James K Pollock to his sister "Theodora" addressed to Kappa Delta Rho, State College PA. The Pollock family lived in Plain Grove Twp., Lawrence County PA, near New Castle, Slippery Rock and Volant PA. This letter is postmarked July 7, 1926 from Carlisle PA, while James was at ROTC Camp at Carlisle Barracks, PA. James Pollock was a 1923 graduate of Westminster College, and later became a well known physician, and eventually on staff at the Mont Alto Tuberculosis Sanitorium at South Mountain. He later developed TB and passed away in 1944. Theodora (Ted or Theo) became a schoolteacher for many years in Plain Grove. The letter is two-sided and in VG condition.
